RigidGrid BX is manufactured out of PP (polypropylene). BX is used as a solution for highway, foundation and resource road sub-structure challenges. RigidGrid BX improves the economics and performance of subgrade and subbase by acting as a reinforcement for aggregate fill materials. It is most effective when geotechnically complicated soils are encountered and when typical roadway subbase is in short supply.
RigidGrid BX is designed to resist high, short-term dynamic loads or moderate loads over longer time periods. These products carry loads applied in any direction in the plane of the geogrid. It comes in 3.8 meter width by 50 meter lengths (custom length orders can be accommodated).
