FlexGrid is a PVC coated warp knit polyester geogrid. It is manufactured in both biaxial and uniaxial form. It is ideally suited for retaining walls and for base reinforcement. Contractors prefer FlexGrid for its flexability and ease of installation. These attributes translate to reduced labour costs at site locations. Contractors are able to run biaxial rolls along the entire wall lengths, reducing cutting and installation time. Consultants recommend biaxial Flexgrid as it is more economical than trying to attain similar long term design strength with a HDPE geogrid. Consultants recognize that on-site directional installation errors are avoided when biaxial FlexGrid is used.
