Trigrid EX biaxial geogrids are manufactured by Samyang Corporation Korea and represented on Exclusive basis by Checkmate in North America.
Trigrid EX represents the very latest in the bi-axial geogrid technology. Trigrid EX utilizes the high strength and high tenacity Polyester in conjunction with Polypropylene, thus creating an interlocked geogrid structure, resulting in higher stiffness and higher Flexural Rigidity. This EX series is specifically designed for improved performance in soil stabilization, base reinforcement and soil reinforcement applications.
The Trigrid EX is engineered to be mechanically and chemically stable, in both harsh construction installation phase and in aggressive soil environments and also possess UV light protection. Trigrids are biologically unaffected by soil micro –organisms. This advanced combination of PP and PET materials in constructing the Trigrid also results in excellent creep and installation damage resistance and high long term durability.
